Monster Hunter Now released the new event schedule via the in-app notifications. The events have also been announced on the Monster Hunter Now social media accounts as well as the game’s website. So far, three separate events have been announced for October 2023: Tobi-Kadachi Weekend, Pink Rathian Week, and the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt.

To participate in all three events, you need to be Hunter Rank (HR) 11 or above. For Pink Rathian Week, you need to complete Chapter 9 and unlock the Rathian hunts. If you aren’t that far in the game yet, you can only participate in the Pink Rathian hunts over the weekend instead of the full week.
Tobi-Kadachi Weekend
During this time, Tobi-Kadachi will appear more frequently in Swamp and Forest Habitats. The Tobi-Kadachi is weak to Water, so make sure you have the right Weapons ready for the job. Tobi-Kadachi will deal Thunder damage, so using Leather Gloves and Kadachi Greaves will give you Thunder Resistance.
Rathian & Pink Rathian Week
12:00am Monday, October 9, 2023 to 4:59pm Friday, October 13, 2023
To participate in the event from Monday to Friday, you must complete Chapter 9 of the story quests. Otherwise, if you haven’t completed Chapter 9 but you’re at HR11 or above, you will be able to participate over the weekend.
After this event, the Pink Rathian will no longer appear. She may make another appearance in a future event, but currently, there is no way to predict when that might be. Make sure you’re stocked up on Paintballs so you can farm Pink Rathian materials before they’re gone.
Halloween Pumpkin Hunt
Wednesday, October 25, 2023 to Tuesday, October 31, 2023
This Halloween event will be a surprise for everyone. The event description is purposely vague, but we will be experiencing a Halloween-themed map. Special Halloween-themed equipment will also be available – probably to craft – and the Kulu-Ya-Ku will look different. Most likely, the Halloween Kulu-Ya-Ku will drop materials for the Halloween equipment and we’ll need to make a mad dash to farm them all.
However, we won’t know for sure until the event itself begins. Make sure you’re ready to take on a lot of Kulu-Ya-Ku with Water weapons. The Kulu-Ya-Ku appears in all three habitats (Forest, Desert, and Swamp), so no matter what your habitat is for the day, Kulu-Ya-Ku will spawn.
