Minecraft can be a bit dull with no other companions to meet and interact with since the villagers that come default within Minecraft don’t offer too much in terms of gameplay. However, if you add the mod Minecraft Comes Alive, then your world will be filled with several villagers you can freely interact with.
These villagers can be used as an hired companion when adventuring, can be gifted items, or simply available for conversation. Players can even raise a relationship level with a villager enough to marry them and as a result, you can have children that will do chores, eventually grow up, marry someone else, and even have kids of their own.
