Much like Thaumcraft, Mine & Blade: Battlegear 2 focuses more on the combat side of things for Minecraft. With this mod installed, players are introduced to new weapons such as a war axe, mace, spear, and dagger. Arrows were also touched up a bit with players now being able to craft fire arrows which will burst enemies into flames, explosive arrows that will act as a TNT projectile, and an ender arrow that can teleport your target.

Another interesting aspect with Mine & Blade: Battlegear 2 is that players are now able to dual-wield weapons which become extremely helpful during combat. Although, if you prefer having a shield instead then you’ll be delighted to know that shields were also a feature tossed into the mod as well.
