Minecraft Stop-Motion Movie Creator is a neat little set that is part toy and part software. This particular kit comes with everything you would need to create your own short film set within the Minecraft world though the set does depend on the owner to supply their own smartphone for capturing the actual film. Within the set comes a stage platform, six different backgrounds, three exclusive mini-figures, eighteen accessories, and a small tripod to set your smartphone on.
The actual recording process of the films is through an application which gives directions on how to shoot a stop-motion film. Kids can form a little story through moving the various mini-figures and accessories around the platform. Best of all, the application comes packed with a basic video editor so kids can cut out scenes or add sound effects.
