Fallout 4 Guide: How To Get A Gun With Unlimited Ammo Capacity

December 14, 2015 by Holly Green

Reloading got you down? Do away with that time-consuming process once and for all with this new weapon.

To say that ammo is a precious commodity in the Commonwealth is an understatement. Sure, you find the occasional stash of .5mm in the odd lunchbox here and there and the Scrounger perk can help immensely. But in general, your struggle in the wasteland will be defined by how much ammunition you have to confront it. Enter the Prototype Up77 “Limitless Potential”. Developed in a secret research facility hidden in a bank, this item has unlimited ammo capacity. With this weapon you will never need to reload, a handy skill to have when every last second in combat counts.

First fast travel to University Point. Nearby you’ll find the University Credit Union, in a building labeled Bank. Head around back to find a door locked with a terminal, then hack it to get inside.

Once inside you’ll find another terminal, this one guarding a vault. Ha, no, not that kind. A bank vault.

Unlock the terminal to open the door.

Inside the vault will be several safes, a few of which can be opened.

Behind a Master lock is a big red button. Once pushed, it will open a secret room.

In that secret room is the weapon. You’ll find a terminal nearby as well, giving some insight into what October 22 was like for the scientists working undercover at the facility. The weapon can be modified, and its ammo clip will be as large as your stash of fusion cells. Enjoy!
