Regardless of whatever industry or subject they try to be experts on, pundits, politicians, and people on pedestals aren't always right about whatever it is they talk about.
And there's no subject that's more confusing or easy to misrepresent than video games, the latest artistic medium. When movies and comic books first came to be, the talking heads back then had similarly ignorant things to say about those mediums, and video games today are no exception.
Needless to say, people who should obviously know better (thanks to the Internet) have said some really dumb things about video games over the years. Here are the worst examples we could think of.
