#8 – Broken Sword: Director's Cut
Remade from its original release in 1996, our next pick on the list goes to Broken Sword: The Shadow of Templars – Director’s Cut. The game focuses on a murder within the Palais Royale and a conspiracy that will take players into a journey around the globe.
Because this is a remake of the original release, Broken Sword: The Shadow of Templars – Director’s Cut adds a few new elements to the title. For starters, players are introduced to a new playable character, Nicole Collard, a journalist, along with the original character George Stobbart. Additionally, new puzzles have been added whereas certain dialogue and cutscenes were removed.
