With the launch of Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves, the game has introduced plenty of new content for fans to sink their teeth into. With the new game modes being the highlight for many, the game feels like it’s been given a fresh coat of paint for the first time since launch. While the new playable content certainly changes the gameplay up, the latest cosmetics added to Halo Infinite provide a nice incentive for players to stick around after playing the new modes a few times.
One of the most interesting-looking armor sets introduced in Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves is the Eaglestrike set. It’s got a unique look to it that, like many sets of armor brought to the game alongside the new season, doesn’t look like anything we’ve ever seen in a Halo game before. It’s a lot more tactical and bulky than previous Spartan looks, but because of its unique feeling, it’s a hotly desired cosmetic by many fans.

How to Get the Eaglestrike Armor in Halo Infinite
Currently, the Eaglestrike armor isn’t available to be unlocked. Right now, the fine-print text assigned to the set says “Currently unavailable. Released during Season 2,” but there are a few details about it that can help inform players when they can expect to unlock it and how.
Because the armor set is a brand new armor core and not simply added to other cores such as the Mark V or the Mark VII, players can expect that the armor will be unlockable by playing events, similar to the Yoroi armor set from season one. The Yoroi set was unlocked by playing games during the many Tenrai events throughout the season and it looks like Eaglestrike will be following a similar unlock path.
Although it’s not confirmed yet, it seems like the Eaglestrike armor core will become available during the first Entrenched event starting on May 24. Like unlocking the Yoroi armor, players will be awarded the core for participating in the event and then be given new pieces of it as they continue to play it. While the first Entrenched event only lasts roughly a week, there will be more opportunities for players to unlock the Eaglestrike armor when the event reappears throughout the season.
