Vampire Survivors is packed full of content. The game continues getting bigger and bigger and the level select menu is proof of that alone. Back when the game launched in early access, there was only one level for players to explore, but now it’s expanded.
There are five total regular levels in Vampire Survivors and each requires a little bit of work to unlock. As the game is still in early access, it seems likely that there will be more levels added as it continues its development in a similar fashion to how it’s been consistently adding new unlockable characters. In addition to the five regular stages, there are four bonus levels for players to sink their teeth into.

Vampire Survivors Map List
Vampire Survivors features five discrete regular stages and four additional bonus stages. This is the list of regular stages:
- Mad Forest
- Inlaid Library
- Dairy Plant
- Gallo Tower
- Cappella Magna
This is the list of bonus stages:
- Il Molise
- Green Acres
- The Bone Zone
- Moongolow
In addition to the stages above, each stage has a Hyper Mode option which increases the speed of both the enemies and the player. It’s essentially a challenging game mode that gives players money rewards as the coin drop rate is increased. Be warned, it’s a much harder way to play Vampire Survivors, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re able to cash out in a major way.
Mad Forest
Mad Forest is unlocked by default when starting the game for the first time. This will be the map that players learn the game on and it’s used to unlock the Inlaid Library.
To unlock Hyper Mode, survive while playing the level normally and beat Giant Blue Venus, the boss that spawns at the 25-minute mark.
Inlaid Library
To unlock the Inlaid Library, you’ll need to reach level 20 in the Mad Forest. To do this, defeat enemies and pick up experience gems until you’ve reached level 20. Once you’re there, finish your run and the Inlaid Library will be unlocked at the level select menu.
To unlock Hyper Mode, survive while playing the level normally and beat Nesuferit, the boss that spawns at the 25-minute mark.
Dairy Plant
The Dairy Plant is unlocked by reaching level 40 in the Inlaid Library. To do this, you’ll need to really start planning out your build so that you can survive to reach level 40. Once you’ve reached the level requirement, finish your run and the Dairy Plant will be unlocked in the level select menu.
To unlock Hyper Mode, survive while playing the level normally and beat the Sword Guardian, the boss that spawns at the 25-minute mark.
Gallo Tower
Unlocking the Gallo Tower is similar to unlocking the rest of the stages: reach level 60 in the Dairy Plant. To get to level 60, you’ll need to be using evolved weapons to take care of the many hoards of enemies that you’ll be encountering. Once you’ve reached the level requirement, finish your run and Gallo Tower will be unlocked in the level select menu.
To unlock Hyper Mode, survive while playing the level normally and beat the Giant Enemy Crab, the boss that spawns at the 25-minute mark.
Cappella Magna
Cappella Magna is a secret stage that isn’t unlocked in the same way as the rest of the stages. To access it, you’ll need to complete the lunar eclipse event by beating the Holy Forbidden (a bonus level with limited availability.) You’ll find out how to unlock Holy Forbidden below.
To unlock Hyper Mode, survive while playing the level normally and beat Trinacria, the boss that spawns at the 25-minute mark.
Il Molise
To unlock the first bonus stage, Il Molise, all you’ll need to do is unlock Hyper Mode for one of the stages above. Once you’ve beaten any of the bosses that spawn at the 25-minute mark, the stage will be unlocked and able to be selected at the level select menu.
Hyper Mode is unlocked automatically once you’ve unlocked this stage.
Green Acres
To unlock the second bonus stage, Green Acres, all you’ll need to do is unlock Hyper Mode for two of the regular stages above. Once you’ve beaten any two of the bosses that spawn at the 25-minute mark, the stage will be unlocked and able to be selected at the level select menu.
Hyper Mode is unlocked automatically once you’ve unlocked this stage.
The Bone Zone
To unlock the second bonus stage, the Bone Zone, all you’ll need to do is unlock Hyper Mode for three of the regular stages above. Once you’ve beaten any three of the bosses that spawn at the 25-minute mark, the stage will be unlocked and able to be selected at the level select menu.
Hyper Mode is unlocked automatically once you’ve unlocked this stage.
Moongolow
To unlock the second bonus stage, Moongolow, all you’ll need to do is unlock Hyper Mode for four of the regular stages above. Once you’ve beaten any four of the bosses that spawn at the 25-minute mark, the stage will be unlocked and able to be selected at the level select menu.
Unlike the rest of the bonus stages, Moongolow only lasts for 15 minutes.
Hyper Mode is unlocked automatically once you’ve unlocked this stage.
Holy Forbidden
To access Holy Forbidden, the player will need to survive for 15 minutes in Moongolow as any character other than Divano or Gallo. Holy Forbidden only takes 5 minutes to complete and once it’s done, Cappella Magna will be unlocked at the stage selection menu. Make sure to grab the Yellow Sign, a relic found on the east path on the level as it unlocks the Silver Ring, the Gold Ring, Metaglio Left, and Metaglio Right and puts the items in the loot pool.
Once you’ve snagged the Yellow Sign, Holy Forbidden cannot be returned to.
