Although never served in a bottle, the Atomic Cocktail is actually a real cocktail, and its existence in the game shows just how much research went into it. The original drink was created and served at a Las Vegas restaurant that had a view of a nearby nuclear testing strip, hence the name of the drink and its inclusion in New Vegas, particularly the Sierra Madre.
