7. Arthas in World of Warcraft
Arthas has a lot of history in the Warcraft universe. Players first controlled him in Warcraft 3, and got to witness his turn towards the dark side after falling to the temptations of Frostmourne. His story is continued with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft, where players have a chance to kill him and bring an end to his story arc.
