Explore The Map Thoroughly Your First Time
I highly recommend disabling Story Guides on your first run through a mission. Your goal should be to fully explore the map as much as possible. Observe the movements of your targets and see where they go. Check out all the weird objects you can interact with. Basically, get a feel for the environment and take it slow.
You can disable HUD elements and more in the settings. It’s easy to enable / disable guides in the settings. Don’t forget to use your Assassin Vision all the time to see what objects you can interact with! And when you’re stuck, just open the Mission Stories menu and run through them. They’ll make getting those early kills much easier.
Don’t Incapacitate Enemies Unless You Know Where To Hide Them First
Hiding bodies is one of the most important aspects of Hitman. It sounds annoying, but you need to make sure your crimes go unnoticed. If you hide a body in a dumpster, cupboard, or bin they’ll go completely hidden forever. Just be wary of dumping bodies in water, over ledges, or in garbage trucks — certain hiding methods result in a kill.
Usually side-rooms and restrooms have hiding spots. Using Emetic Poison will always send an NPC to the restroom where you can get them alone. Evidence Boxes are usually in interior rooms. It’s good to scout out a location before making any moves.
