GLaDOS Returns [Cyberpunk 2077]
Ellen McLain makes a hilarious cameo on Cyberpunk 2077 to reprise her role as GLaDOS from the Portal series of puzzle games. You’ll find this surprise in a side-job working for an AI cab company. One of his run-away cabs is totally just GLaDOS, spouting off some of her best lines — “Here are the test results: You are a horrible person.” being my favorite.
There are so many more Easter eggs to discuss in Cyberpunk 2077. GLaDOS is my favorite, but you can also encounter Hideo Kojima as a “braindance designer” and even scan a Bridge Baby from Death Stranding in the NCPD police lab.
WOAH! [Crash Bandicoot 4]
The WOAH! Crash Bandicoot meme is now official. If you don’t remember a random meme from three years ago (I don’t blame you.) then you might not get as much enjoyment out of Crash’s weird little “WOAH!” as we did. But the shout re-appears in a trip through dimensions late in the new game.
While travelling through a portal, Crash can collect little fragments of dimensional energy and unlock different voice clips. If Crash manages to collect them all, the screen will get covered in “WOAH!”s and the meme pic appears with Crash’s ugly PS1 era mug. It’s weird, and it made us laugh. It gets a place on this list.
