16 Best Tricks To Beat Gaming’s Toughest Bosses Easily

July 27, 2020 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Discover some of gaming’s most hilarious, ridiculous and obscure tricks for defeating those annoying boss battles.

Ceaseless Discharge & Iron Golem [Dark Souls]

Dark Souls is an infamously difficult game, but there’s one natural force these two bosses can’t handle — gravity. The Iron Golem and the Ceaseless Discharge can be knocked right out of their arenas with some careful maneuvering. Ceaseless Discharge is one of the most annoying bosses in the game. He’s enormous, and during your first encounter, it seems like there’s no easy way to beat this gargantuan enemy.

But if you lead him back toward the entrance Fog Door, the Ceaseless Discharge will creep ever closer to the deep lavafall on the edge of his arena. Once he gets too close, the skyscraper-sized behemoth will trip and tumble over the ledge. Iron Golem is trickier to coax toward the side of his castle rooftop arena, but you’re free to knock him off once he starts teetering.

Galamoth [Castlevania: Symphony of Night]

An infamously tough boss is made easy with the right item. Galamoth is a titanic enemy that shoots blasts of unblockable lightning from his staff, basically covering the entire floor of his arena. It doesn’t help that Galamoth has a high HP bar, so trying to tank his powerful attacks is nigh impossible. The first time you encounter this guy, he seems like an unbeatable optional boss.

Until you acquire the Beryl Circlet. This piece of headgear can be found in the Reverse Entrance in the flipped castle, and wearing it causes lightning attacks to heal you. Wearing this piece of armor makes you totally invincible during this boss fight, turning an unstoppable foe into a complete joke.
