#8 Warcraft III: Reforged
Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos released back in 2002 and now for fans who enjoyed the game when it initially released can enjoy the newly revamped edition. This is a classic strategy title that not only brings out a visual improvement to the base game but also the expansion, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. As mentioned, the game was enhanced a bit and you can expect some new mechanics to help make the game feel a bit fresh. For instance, we know some mechanics and AI was tweaked and that players can even expect new enemies. While this game may be aimed towards those that enjoyed the title originally, newcomers will like to find quite a bit to enjoy as well.
#7 Outriders
Within Outriders, players are tossed into a timeline where Earth is dying and as a result, those that left the planet are on a search for a new home. That’s where players land on a planet called Enoch a seemingly decent planet for humanity, though it’s clear soon after that there are other hostiles that live within the planet. Likewise, a supernatural force has been turning those that inhabitant this planet into mutants with powers. These mutations are taking characters further from humanity though we’re unsure of what the end game would be for players to progress through the narrative quite yet.
Still, this development studio has had quite a successful track record for shooter games and since this is their first title since breaking away from Epic Games, we’re interested in seeing just how well it does. Clearly, the studio has something they feel would be a hit and we’re set to see for ourselves later this year. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this description, we’re really not sure just when that would be as the game doesn’t have a specific release date quite yet. At any rate, we’re still slated to receive the game sometime in the fourth quarter of 2020.
