10 Most Impossibly Hard Secret Bosses Of 2019

December 28, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Fight the best secret bosses of 2019 with our top 10 list.

Former (Control)

Control is an all-around amazing game that’s full of bizarre details, and the most shocking secrets are the massive boss fights. You’ll encounter your first boss in the spooky object-of-power storage area, where you’ll be shocked to face an enormous one-eyed monster.

There are more optional bosses in the game — you can fight an insane backwards-speaking evil doppelganger, and a psychic anchor that uses hundreds of clocks as a shield. The one-eyed monster is so unlike anything else in the game, and such a shocking encounter, it had to go somewhere on our list.

Find all the optional bosses with our full guide here.

The Collector (Dead Cells)

In 2019, Dead Cells added a truly terrifying final encounter in the Collector. Originally, the game featured a fairly simple fight against a weird brute that lead to a weirdly anticlimactic ending. As it turns out, there’s a lot more to Dead Cells — if you manage to complete even more hidden objectives and play on a higher difficulty, you can access the Astrolab from the King’s Chambers and fight the unstoppable Collector. Unsurprisingly, this guy is very difficult. Only the best Dead Cells players have a chance at reaching this guy.
