Gaz
It turns out, you were playing as ‘Gaz’ all along! In the cutscene, Captain Price lists all the people he wants for his new Task Force. That includes Gaz — the player character for the SAS portions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).
No revelations here, just an updated design for an original SAS member. The other SAS members are a little more revelatory.
John ‘Soap’ McTavish
Soap is the original SAS aligned protagonist, and he’s a playable character in all three original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games. Will we play as him again? Maybe — in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Soap only became playable after General Shepherd betrayed Task Force 141 and killed the next character on our list.
