Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – All Secret Room Locations | 100% Complete Map

June 26, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Find all the hidden rooms in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night with this 100% complete map.

Want to earn the ‘Cartography’ achievement / trophy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night? Finding all 100% of the map is easy, until you have to start hunting down those annoying secret rooms. If you’re stuck at 99%, you probably just need find (and smash open) the many, many secret rooms scattered across the map. To make your life easier, we’re including a full map with all the secret rooms marked for your convenience. You can check it out below.

The secret rooms are worth finding for more than just a Gold trophy. Each secret room usually contains a permanent health / mana / capacity upgrade for your character. There are also awesome little treasure rewards you can find in these rooms, like rare items, weapons, and other stuff that’s actually pretty awesome.

We’ve got the full map here, but most of it is pretty easy to find. Just look for rooms you haven’t unlocked, or areas with no thick white lines, showing the barriers of the map.

Once you reach the end of the game, you’ll be able to travel everywhere. Check out the guides linked above for more details if you need help making progress, or need hints explaining where to get all the movement powers.

All secret rooms are accessed by smashing walls — sometimes, you can also smash floors or ceilings. One of the best secret rooms is located in the Hall of Termination, near the final boss arena. Smash through the ceiling at the top of the stairwell, and you’ll find a room that’s a reference to the ceiling treasure rooms before Dracula in Castlevania games.

In that same room, there’s a second wall you can break that leads to a very special Easter egg area — the 8-Bit Nightmare! Interact with the glowing bookcase and you’ll be able to fight (and unlock) 8-Bit enemies with unique shard powers. There’s even a powerful boss waiting at the end.
