We’ve got the full map here, but most of it is pretty easy to find. Just look for rooms you haven’t unlocked, or areas with no thick white lines, showing the barriers of the map.
Once you reach the end of the game, you’ll be able to travel everywhere. Check out the guides linked above for more details if you need help making progress, or need hints explaining where to get all the movement powers.
All secret rooms are accessed by smashing walls — sometimes, you can also smash floors or ceilings. One of the best secret rooms is located in the Hall of Termination, near the final boss arena. Smash through the ceiling at the top of the stairwell, and you’ll find a room that’s a reference to the ceiling treasure rooms before Dracula in Castlevania games.
In that same room, there’s a second wall you can break that leads to a very special Easter egg area — the 8-Bit Nightmare! Interact with the glowing bookcase and you’ll be able to fight (and unlock) 8-Bit enemies with unique shard powers. There’s even a powerful boss waiting at the end.
