Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – How To Find Robert’s Firecrackers Prosthetic | ‘Memorial Mob’ Guide

March 23, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Get your hands on several handy Prosthetic Tools to make the first bosses much easier in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

One of the most useful Prosthetics you can unlock in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is actually incredibly easy to miss. The ‘Robert’s Firecracker’ Prosthetic launches an explosive array of firecrackers that stun groups of soldiers, scare bossies, and spook steeds. It’s great against almost all of the early game bosses, but it’s going to cost a little bit of coin. You can grab it right before the Chained Ogre boss encounter, and you’ll earn an achievement / trophy for finding the hidden vendor.

In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, you can literally bounce back from death. As a Shinobi with no memory, you’ll explore the vast mountain territory of a once-powerful clan, attempting to fulfill your failed mission and get revenge. This is a huge departure from previous Dark Souls-like games, featuring a stealth system and deadly, lighting-quick combat. In true Fromsoft fashion, this is an incredibly hard game. Use every advantage you can.

How To Find Robert’s Firecracker Shinobi Prosthetic | ‘Memorial Mob’ Guide

To find the first merchant, you’ll need to reach the Ashina Outskirts: Outskirts Wall – Gate Path area. On the main path, you’ll encounter a wounded soldier and an old woman. Talk to her, and she’ll give you the Young Lord’s Charm Bell.

Very close to this NPC encounter, you’ll be able to find the first vendor — named Memorial Mob. Follow the stairs down to the gateway path with the cannon-wielding enemy. Look left, and climb the cliffs — at the very top of the peak, you’ll find the NPC vendor.

  • Memorial Mob sells Robert’s Firecracker for 500 gold.

You can find three small coin purse items underneath the ruined house with the old woman, below Memorial Mob’s store. There are 100 coins in each Coin Purse, so that covers 300 coins. You should be able to easily acquire the rest before the first boss.

The firecracker prosthetic tool is very useful against the first boss, so there’s no reason not to grab it when you can. Talking to the merchant will unlock the ‘Memorial Mob‘ achievement / trophy.
