#25 Sunset Overdrive
Sunset Overdrive is a vibrant and colorful third-person action-adventure title. In the game, players are tossed into the not so distant future of 2027 where the world has become a dystopia in control by mutants. Within the game you take the role of a FizzCo employee who is tasked with cleaning up the mess in the city after the launch of a new energy drink developed by the mutants.
There is a big focus on speed and parkour movements as you battle against enemies while traversing the city. Currently there is no word of a sequel in the works. Instead, the developers have expressed an interest in crafting Sunset Overdrive 2 though they would require a new publisher.
#24 Days Gone
You either love or hate Days Gone. When the latest title from Bend Studio released, there was plenty of critics on both sides that praised the game or wrote it off. Personally, I enjoyed the game, it provided plenty of quests and campaigns to keep me interested in the narrative, but on top of that the in-game world was fun to explore. In case you haven’t heard about this game, Days Gone follows a young man by the name of Deacon St. John who was not always on the right side of the law. This former biker has to use his skills learned from back during his days in the armed service along with how he handled himself afterward as he rode for a gang in order to survive the post-apocalypse.
The world has turned into a very grim place after a disease has transformed people into mindless creatures similar to zombies, though known as Freakers in this game. Players must venture off to find resources, aid other factions and possible find out what happened to his wife when the world collapsed. This is an open world game that has plenty to explore with ghost towns, little sanctuary groups, random NPCs in need of help, and plenty of Freakers to avoid. In fact, there are even massive hordes that you won’t want to attract. Being a biker, traversing the world is done mainly by using your motorcycle which can be upgraded in a variety of aspects such as tossing even more nos to give you boost in speed.

#21 Watch Dogs 2
After the success Ubisoft had with their new IP Watch Dogs, a sequel was released back in 2016. This time around, players are taken to the San Francisco Bay Area to explore and cause havoc by hacking various terminals connecting to city functions or personal smartphones. Much of the same gameplay mechanics are present, though the developers did make a few overhauls such as driving.
