#50 Vampyr

Dontnod Entertainment has crafted up some popular titles so far. Their debut title Remember Me sparked the highly beloved Life is Strange IP. Following up the release of Life is Strange is Vampyr, a vastly different IP then what the developers have worked.
Vampyr takes place during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic in London where players take the role of a doctor Jonathan Reid. Our protagonist is in a predicament as he is a vampire with a bloodthirsty nature, but is battling his condition with the Hippocratic Oath he swore to uphold.
Being an action role-playing title, players can traverse parts of the world while also leveling up Jonathan in order to unlock new abilities and skills. But being a Dontnod Entertainment video game you can expect a strong narrative journey with some tough choices you’ll have to make along the way.
#49 Dying Light

- Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
Dying Light was created under Techland, who was also the developers behind Dead Island and as such there are some clear similarities between the two. However, between the two video game titles, Dying Light certainly carries a more mature tone and bleak world.
The video game follows an agent named Kyle Crane who is tasked with infiltrating a quarantine zone city of Harran which has become infested with a virus turning civilians into ruthless zombies. Interestingly enough, there’s a twist on the day and night cycle in Dying Light. During the day, the zombies are more lethargic and easier to deal with, though once the sun set’s they become more aggressive and harder to escape from.
Developers have also tossed in some parkour elements within the game allowing players to easily traverse the city and its obstacles when fleeing the undead hordes. Combat as well has been changed from the melee focus from what we seen within Dead Island to gunplay, giving players an action-adventure experience.
#48 Shadow of the Tomb Raider

When Tomb Raider received its big reboot back in 2013, the series received a massive revival with new and veteran players enjoying the latest big adventure featuring Lara Croft. In 2015, a sequel to Tomb Raider landed into the market and much like the reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider was a big hit.
Now gamers can enjoy the latest big release of the franchise known as Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The video game will be taking place after Rise of the Tomb Raider in which Lara Croft is off to find a Mayan relic that is connected to her late father. However, during the expedition, Lara accidentally sets off a Mayan apocalypse forcing her to save the world.
#47 Detroit: Become Human

Set in Detroit, Michigan, and developed by Quantic Dream, gamers who enjoy choice-driven narratives will want to pick up Detroit: Become Human. This is a futuristic neo-noir thriller that’s based off an old 2012 tech demo from Quantic Dream that became viral online.
Players will take control of three different characters, all of which are androids. You will have Kara, a female android that has escaped the factory from where she was made. There’s also Connor, who is a male android that is tasked with hunting down deviant androids. Lastly, there is Markus, another male android who has begun an android revolution against the human race.
This video game is all about choices and it certainly seems that there will be a ton of them to choose through within the game. In fact, there are so many choices that each will alter the narrative storyline and can have grave consequences with your characters.
#46 Prey

The 2017 release of Prey from developers Arkane Studios is stated to be an FPS with survival horror elements. This is a futuristic title where players are set on a space station that has been tainted by a hostile alien species. During this exploration journey, gamers will be stepping into the shoes of Morgan Yu who must find a means to get rid of the alien species and escape the station.
You may recall the Prey franchise from when it first launched back in 2006 and it’s worth mentioning that this is not a reboot or remaster. Instead, the developers identify Prey as a reimagining of the IP with a new narrative.
Much of the gameplay will involve exploring the station and solving a few puzzles as you progress.
