Final Fantasy XV: How To Join Multiplayer Beta | Comrades Guide

July 28, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s how you can join in the closed Comrades beta.

Final Fantasy XV is receiving its multiplayer DLC shortly courtesy of Square Enix, although little information has been unveiled yet to the masses. The DLC is known as Comrades in which friends can customize a character and meet together in order to go through multiplayer quests.

So far we know that the game will have an assortment of weapons to choose from such as katanas, crossbows, shields, shurikens, along with new move sets. However, what all will entail for gamers is still much of a mystery.

There very well could be a new area in which these quests will take place in, though we’ll know more about the Final Fantasy XV DLC soon as the closed beta will kick off on August 3, 2017, and will last all the way up until August 8, 2017.

If you’re looking to enjoy the closed beta with some friends then you’ll have to do one of two things in order to gain access to the video game DLC. For starters, you can pick up a Season Pass of Final Fantasy XV.

Final Fantasy XV Season Pass Contents
  • Holiday Packs
  • Booster Packs
  • Episode Gladiolus
  • Episode Prompto
  • Episode Ignis
  • Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades

If you don’t want to pick want to pick up a Season Pass then you’ll have gained access if you purchased the Final Fantasy XV Deluxe Edition.

  • Final Fantasy XV Game
  • Steelbook
  • Kingsglaive
  • Royal Raiment Costume
  • Car Recolor DLC

For now, those two options are the only means of getting access to the closed beta of Final Fantasy XV’s DLC Comrades. Likewise, there is currently no official release date for the beta quite yet so we’ll simply have to wait and hope Square Enix will have some type of an official release date announcement towards the end of the closed beta phase.
