There’s never enough money in Persona 5. You’ll need money to buy new gear, weapons, and accessories — you’ll need money to travel, get gifts, or summon Personas too.
The more money you have, the more options you’ll have available to you. To help with your money-making experience, the community has come together and revealed a pretty awesome little money-farming trick.
The trick involves Confusion. When confused, enemies toss out items and cash randomly — but, after two or three confusions, they’ll simply retreat. You can’t keep Confusion going for too long. Or can you?
See how to farm an endless amount of cash with the clever strategy below.

Earn Unlimited Cash Quick With This Money Farming Trick
To start farming cash, you’ll need to at least to fulfill at least two requirements:
- Have a Confusion skill (Preferably one with a High Chance of Confusion.)
- Example: Pulinpa Skill + Confuse Boost
- A Mementos Boss
Any Mementos Boss will do. We can only farm bosses — Shadow Requests are your best bet. The reason you’ll need to farm Bosses is simple — in a boss battle, you can’ escape. The boss can’t escape either.
You can farm a boss with Confuse for as long as you want. Confuse only lasts 3 turns, but the boss will often drop HP / SP healing items between throwing away money. That means you’ll be able to keep your SP filled without dipping into your own stash of items.
To make things easier, you’ll want to increase your Luck stat. You can do that by equipping / collecting Personas with especially high Luck, strengthening to get Luck boosts, or equipping accessories with Luck bonuses.
That’s it! The deeper the boss encounters in Mementos, the more cash you’ll get from Confusion. Some bosses will drop 50,000 Yen, or even 200,000 Yen if you’ve traveled deep into the dungeon. Once you’ve confused a boss, they’re pretty much at your mercy. You can keep it going for as long as you want.
Just don’t forget to kill them when you’re done farming! You don’t want to lose all your cash-earning progress by dying.
