Assassin’s Creed: Empire is the rumored Assassin’s Creed title that is set to release in 2017. Last year Ubisoft announced that they will be taking off a year to take the game back to its roots, which ultimately was a good choice.
Well, today Swiss retailer WOG has listed the upcoming entry to release in Q4 of 2017. As the retailer suggests the game will also release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, as expected. Check out the listing down below:
There has been no official word by Ubisoft about the recently released leaks for the game. However, it seems that the game will be going with an Egyptian setting, thanks to the leaked screenshot simply showing the clothing style from that time period. The shield also seems to have an insignia from the franchise. Check out the leaked screenshot here.
Again, this is all up to debate until we get an official word regarding the screenshots from Ubisoft. It’s likely we’ll hear more regarding the upcoming Assassin’s Creed franchise installment during this year’s E3 event
