By now, chances are you've downloaded and currently playing Medal of Honor Warfighter's open beta — at least you are if you're playing on the Xbox 360. For those who only play on the PS3 or PC, this two-hour beta footage might be the best alternative you're going to get until the game's out later this month.
This footage is courtesy of GameSpot who held a beta challenge for the game. It pits people who signed up against Danger Close's QA team. While the Danger Close guys might seem like they have an unfair advantage due to having played the game for months now, they're in for a rude awakening.
For those who don't give a crap about that sort of thing, the footage gives us a nice long look at the various classes, guns and Support Actions in the game.
Before you judge everything you see on the video, keep in mind that this is from an early build of the game and we're not sure what changes they've made since then.
In addition to the guns and whatnot, we also see the different ways to earn points to add to your pointstreak. Players can heal their fire team buddy, give him ammo, eliminate their killer for an avenger bonus and more. There's also a "humiliation" kill in the game if you manage to do a melee attack against your enemies.
Based on the footage, is it good enough to be your multiplayer shooter of choice this year? For people who already played the beta, share your thoughts in the comments below.
Medal of Honor Warfighter will be out on October 23 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
