During Hideo Kojima's developer session at the on-going Eurogamer Expo, the famed game director let slip a few new Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes details.
First up, Kojima has revealed that Ground Zeroes will include base building mechanics — yes, the same thing players experienced in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walkers for the PSP. Snake will have a home base in the game that players can fortify and manage.
Not only that, but Kojima is even looking at the option to let players manage their bases using their smartphones. This mean that changes you make in your smartphone will reflect in the core game. And what's more, Kojima is aiming to have players walk around their bases using their smarphones in real time.
So, we already know the game will be open-world, have night and day cycles, have base building elements and even integrate with our phones, too? This might be one of the most ambitious games yet.
Kojima's developer session is still happening as we speak, and we'll report more details as they're made available.
Are you excited for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes from what you've heard so far?
