You know what amazes me? All the details and clues gamers will put together based on seemingly nothing. Truly we are an observant–if not a tad obsessive–bunch. That ARG stuff that pops up every once in a while gives me a sense of awe about it.
So it's no surprise that the recent Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 videos have been dissected for all sorts of clues recently. We have a video from True Heads (seen above) which analyses down the zombies pre-trailer as well as some speculation from members, which you can join.
Seemingly, at first glance, there's not much to it. In actuality though, there's some details to peruse. First, there's the guess that Dempsey from World at War is making a reappearance…at least, the voice sounds rather similar, doesn't it? He's not the only character that might be making a return, though their second guess seems tenuous. They think that the ray gun makes a comeback, but again, it's based on the dissection of absurdly small details.
Richtofen's hat seems to be in the bus, and while I don't think it's as obvious/visible as stated, they're right when they say that old zombies characters seem to be important. Finally, the focus on the bus seems worth noting, especially with it ending on "welcome aboard."
Finally, the most important detail—and one missing from our previous coverage of Black Ops 2—is the inclusion of map-specific achievements for the Zombies mode maps.
Ultimately we'll know what this all amounts to on the 26th when the full trailer is revealed.
