Dishonored's Achievements list has just been revealed and they don't seem to be your usual cookie-cutter ones, too. If you didn't know, Arkane Studios' Dishonored is a first-person stealth/action game that will also let the player level up and play the game how they see fit. By this, I mean, you can either tackle the game stealthily, or just go rush the enemy with the multitude of powers Corvo has at his disposal.
Now, here's where things get tricky. While some of the Achievements are simple enough (Thief: You Pickpocketed items worth a total of 200 coins), the others are a lot less inviting.
Here's some of the hardest ones from the list. Nope, they're not spoilerish.
Ghost (30G): You completed all missions after the prologue, alerting or killing no one but key targets.
Shadow (30G): You completed all missions after the prologue without alerting anyone.
Mostly Flesh and Steel (50G): You finished the game without purchasing any supernatural powers or enhancements, besides Blink.
Clean Hands (100G): You completed the game without killing anyone.
While Ghost or Shadow looks to be easy enough, Mostly Flesh and Steel means that you'll be playing the game without leveling up! So, that means you'll take your character from beginning to end as is. Of course, it's doable but that means you need to finish the game a second time — unless, y'know, you're going to aim for that Achievement your first time through.
Admittedly, Clean Hands might or might not be a walk in the park. If this is like Metal Gear's gameplay where just using the tranquilizer gun is a viable sub for a real gun, then that would make it easy. However, if the game doesn't give you this option, then you might have to go through the whole game hiding or running…and that certainly won't make you feel like a powerful bad-ass, no?
If you want to read the complete list, click here. However, the latter part of the list reveals some very heavy spoilers…to the point that I now hate myself for even reading them.
As the case is with Achievements, it's almost a sure bet that these are the Trophy list for the Dishonored's PS3 version but replace the 30G ones with Silver and the 50G and 100G ones with a Gold.
Now that you know the game's Achievements, am I just being a pansy and they seem easy or will they be a bit annoying to get?
Dishonored is set for release on October 9 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
