Nintendo recently held a presentation yesterday showcasing the upcoming console release, the Nintendo Switch. During the presentation, we got a bit more insight of the console, its launch date, along with the price point. Towards the end of the event, Nintendo unveiled a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated video game release, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
It was within this trailer that we finally have a release date for the video game and that’s March 3, 2017, making the latest installment to The Legend of Zelda franchise a Nintendo Switch launch title.
Since the presentation, we found out that the Nintendo Switch console will have 32 GB of internal storage and if you’re planning on picking up The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild this title will take a total of 13.4 GB of stage space, according to a report made on GameSpot.
As it turns out, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will run slightly smaller with only requiring 13 GB of internal storage for the Wii U.
This shouldn’t come as much surprise for gamers as console releases normally release with a smaller HDD for internal storage use. Gamers who pick up the Nintendo Switch along with a variety of video game titles to enjoy during the console launch should check out a microSDXC card to expand the Nintendo Switch memory.
