Today welcomes the new promotional video by Microsoft for Dead Rising 4. Unfortunately it doesn’t show any gameplay, but what it does do is show the players that Microsoft (much like the rest of the world) is ready for the holiday season. The 21 minute video is a “Yule Log” piece, that attempts to inspire players to get into the festive mood.
Of course that isn’t all though; for in keeping with the fun and slightly dark humour of the game; instead of logs burning on the fire, you will see body parts instead. On occasion someone will walk into the frame to either stoke the fire with a barbed-wire baseball bat or add another log/limb.
This trailer might be a little “odd”; but fits in with the game’s’ lighthearted; fun; creative take on a zombie apocalypse. Dead Rising 4 launches for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on December 6; it’s a timed exclusive, which means it could come to Ps4 and Steam in the future.
