100ft Robot Golf has all of the nuances of classic things gamers love. These include sports action with hilarious commentary, anime-style cutscenes, plenty of adorable corgis, giant robots, and of course…puns!
100ft Robot Golf is brought to us by No Goblin, a tiny two-person indie formed by Panzer with former Harmonix and Twisted Pixel designer Dan Teasdale.
The basic gameplay is, of course, golf, but as a 100ft robot. The landscape plays the role of temporary obstruction rather than hard boundary, which surely will make for some unique gameplay. The game allows you to destroy any obstacle in your way because, well, you’re a 100 foot tall giant robot.
The game also gives players full control over how they play their rounds of golf. You can select from a lineup of pilots (one of which is 5 adorable small dogs in a suit) and robots that have a wide range of playstyles as well as their own unique abilities.
If you’re excited to get in on the action, 100ft Robot Golf is out now for the PS4 via the PlayStation store. The game is also PlayStation VR compatible. The game also has a four-player splitscreen, which is not found very often in modern games these days. There are also several different game modes to try, such as frantic real-time destruction gold, classic turn based action, or you can even craft you own custom ruleset for your round.
