South Park: The Fractured But Whole, sequel to Ubisoft and Obsidian Entertainment’s South Park: The Stick of Truth, has been delayed.
Ubisoft announced today in a short post that the highly anticipated role-playing game set in Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s politically incorrect world of South Park has been postponed for release until Q1 2017. It was originally slated to come out later this year.
The game makes fun of the Marvel and DC Comics movies.
According to the statement, the game’s delay can be attributed to the development team’s desire to “make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans.” They state that the additional time allotted for development will allow them to make sure this is the case.
When it comes out, it’ll release on the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
