For fans of shows such as Twin Peaks and True Detective, Virginia may be a must-play. This is an upcoming first-person thriller title that is set to launch next month, which places you into the shoes of an FBI agent tasked with solving a child disappearance case.
Originally revealed back in 2014, Virginia is approaching its release date for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game has been in development from the indie studio, Variable State and published through 505 Games.
As mentioned, Virginia is set in a small town that holds a dark secret, it’s your job as FBI agent Anne Tarver to locate a missing child, but as you dig deeper into the case, new hidden agendas are revealed. Much like hit drama TV shows such as Twin Peaks and True Detective, your investigation may become sinister where your suspects grow stranger.
Once again, the video game is set to launch next month, September 22, 2016, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, you can enjoy the demo for Virginia on Steam right now for free. Take a look at the announcement trailer posted above along with the game gallery down below.
