Hello Games Working On No Man’s Sky Patch

Too many bugs to enjoy?

No Man’s Sky has been a highly anticipated video game since its grand reveal. From an indie development team known as Hello Games, No Man’s Sky recently launched on both the PlayStation 4 and PC. However, there are still plenty of issues that need to be addressed before the game plays smoothly.

If you happened to log on Steam to purchase No Man’s Sky, you’ll be greeted with a long list of poor reviews as the game has not been flooded with bugs. One of the biggest issues is simply due to the lag, where some gamers have well over the necessary system requirements to play the game but are finding FPS nearing the single digits.

Some gamers have found various workarounds that would cap the game at 30 FPS rather than the 60 FPS others may have been hoping to enjoy the game at. Regardless, Hello Games are fully aware of the problem and are working on a fix.

News of an upcoming patch came directly from Hello Games official website. According to a post made by Sean Murray, the developers are fully aware of the number of bugs, issues, and crashes that gamers are reporting.

Already, the developers have hired a new QA team that is larger than the entire Hello Games team as they begin to work on fixes. Likewise, their posting does indicate some workarounds for gamers to go through.

Here are the official workarounds from No Man’s Sky.

  • If you believe you are stuck, or can’t reach your ship, be aware you can jetpack forever whilst pushing against any surface
  • If you have made a mistake – you can revert to any of your two previous saves in the Options Menu
  • If you have left your ship somewhere inaccessible, you will be able to summon it from landing pads or beacons found at most buildings or points of interest (marked by question marks)
