A game dev studio called Hypersect has made a 1-to-4 player “Negative-Space” shooter experience. In INVERSUS, your walls are someone else’s paths, and their walls are your paths. Every shot you take flips the colors on the tile grid, possibly blocking the opponent’s route. But it can also have the exact opposite result, opening up a path to swift defeat.
It’s better to see INVERSUS in order to fully understand it.

Comes with over thirty different maps, with the opportunity for both 1v1 and 2v2 modes. If you don’t want the intensity of multiplayer, don’t worry – you can refine your reflexes with the available singleplayer mode. INVERSUS has an Arcade mode designed with reaction abilities in mind. “One of the key things I’ve taken from working as the lead sandbox engineer on the multiplayer shooter, Destiny, is the critical attention to feel and feedback in gameplay,” said Ryan Juckett of Hypersect. “It’s what players will notice right away in INVERSUS, and something I’ve consistently seen people enjoy.” There’s a separate trailer focused on this particular aspect of the game, available to watch here.
INVERSUS comes to PC and PS4 on August 16th. To learn more about the game, check out the website, Twitter, and Facebook.
