Development team’s Three One Zero is prepping to launch their first video game title, Adr1ft, for the PlayStation 4 later this month. Prepare to survive the space wreckage and regain your memory as you float endlessly in outer space.
This will be Adam Orth’s first video game after his resignation from Microsoft. You may recall Adam over his controversial comments regarding the Xbox One DRM proposal of being an always-on device. That, however, has since changed to accommodate interests and demands of their core gaming consumer audience.
Adr1ft is a first-person adventure game in which the story follows an astronaut who awakens within the massive wreckage of a destroyed space station. However, with no memory of what has happened, players will have to maneuver around the wreckage to find clues of what had occurred moments ago, maintain their vital signs, and ultimately discover a way home safely.
Currently, the video game is already available on PC with Oculus VR support though the development team will bring over the IP to Sony PlayStation 4 this month, July 15, 2016. Unfortunately, there is no word on if the game will offer VR support for Sony’s upcoming VR headset that will be launching in October.
For now, take a look at the Adr1ft trailer which is posted above along with the title gallery down below.
