With the latest generation of consoles lacking the ability to play back catalogs of the older generation of video games, it’s becoming a tireless game of waiting for emulation ports. Both Microsoft and Sony have been actively working on bringing out past generation of video games to their latest flagship consoles and today a PlayStation 2 classic was finally revealed for the PlayStation 4.
Primal is set to be the next PlayStation 2 video game title to release on the PlayStation 4 console, according to an announcement on the official PlayStation blog. This video game release is through Sony’s emulation technology that the company has developed in order to bring past Sony video game classics to the PlayStation 4.
Originally released back in 2003, Primal was developed by SCE Studio Cambridge. This is an action-adventure title that follows the story of Jennifer Tate, a young woman who is searching for her boyfriend through a series of demonic realms.
You can download a copy of Primal when it officially releases on the PlayStation Store tomorrow, May 31, 2016. This will become the twenty-sixth PlayStation 2 video game to have released on the PlayStation 4.
