Tom Henderson has a few updates on some Ubisoft projects that are still deep in development.

He revealed in the latest Insider Gaming podcast that the Splinter Cell remake is delayed to next year, and Ubisoft’s Creative House 2 is releasing Ghost Recon next. But he also talked about some other games too.
Tom says the next Far Cry game is “going through hell and back right now.” While it’s concerning, we’re not clear which game he’s referring to. We know that there’s a Far Cry multiplayer game that was intended to be an extraction shooter, but was rebooted last year.
The main Far Cry, AKA Far Cry 7, has also apparently been pushed back. Since this project hasn’t been announced yet, Ubisoft could choose to reboot it too. Of course, we wouldn’t know.
Tom also referred to a Rayman Legends remake, which is apparently ‘going well.’ We assume is different from the next AAA Rayman, which is closer to the start of its development based on when it was announced.
