Rockstar just did something that heavily suggests that Grand Theft Auto Online’s mansions will be really expensive.

Tex2 (FKA Tez2) shared this information on Twitter:
Rockstar is giving out GTA$20 million to fan creators for their first luxury property.
He also shared a screenshot of the message Rockstar sent fan creators:
If you are receiving this e-mail, thank you for your long-time support!
Please feel free to reply with your Rockstar ID and preferred platform by December 8 and we’ll provide you with a GTA$20,000,000 lump sum for your first luxury property in time for launch as a token of our appreciation for your support.
How Expensive Will Mansions Be?
Rockstar has not revealed the prices of the mansions for now. But we know that they can get as expensive as players want them to be.
And that’s because Prix Luxury Real Estate offers a host of amenities that you can add to your domicile. These include the following:
- Expansive Driveway
- Luxurious Outdoor Spaces
- Restorative Yoga Area
- Lavish Swimming Pool
- Tranquil Hot Tub
- Sturdy Gym Equipment
- Stately Kennels
- Spacious Garage
- Private Roof Helipad
- Master and Guest Bedrooms
- Relaxing Lounge Area
- Cozy Cigar Room
- Engaging Office
- Elegant Trophy Room
- Secure Vault
- Private Salon
- State-of-the-Art Media Room
- Podium
- Armory
- Arcade
- Vehicle Workshop
Now, if you’ve worked in real estate in some capacity, you already know that these options can go as far as a client’s budget and imagination can go. Even if you aren’t quite wealthy enough to afford a mansion, if you have had a home built even within the last twenty years, you would have also had to contend with the physical constraints of the lot area you have, or possibly, the house that you already have.
Will Rockstar Make Building Mansions Worth It?
There is an elephant in the room that Rockstar hasn’t explained to us yet. What happens to our mansions when Grand Theft Auto Online carries over to Grand Theft Auto 6?
Everyone suspects that Grand Theft Auto 6’s online component will be based on that game’s version of Leonida. But that could mean that the San Andreas that Grand Theft Auto Online currently exists in won’t be carrying over.
Consider this a warning for returning players. At the very least, if you’re tempted to go back in to build your mansion, spending money isn’t advisable. Rockstar will let you buy your way with real money, but you may regret spending that money if it’s stuck with the old game a year from now.
