Battlefield fans are waiting for the next major installment to land. There are a lot of hopeful fans out there who believe developers will deliver with this next installment. We don’t have much official news to share at this time. Instead, we know that more details about the game will be revealed later this week. However, one aspect of the game that has appeared online from time to time is a battle royale mode.
We don’t know what all the developers have been planning for the game. However, with Call of Duty’s Warzone and other battle royales thriving, we wouldn’t be surprised to see something come for Battlefield 6. That’s the plan, at least according to some insiders. We’re also learning that one insider datamine uncovered the Battlefield 6 battle royale map.
Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Map Recreation Surfaces Online
Thanks to Insider Gaming, we’re finding out that insider Temporyal has posted a recreation of the supposed battle royale map for Battlefield 6. After a data mine uncovered the map, some finer details are being shared early, albeit unofficially.
The map is called Lyndon Beach, and it features several notable points of interest. Just how many players will be dropping into the map and what, if any, features will be different with this battle royale experience is unknown.
That said, there was another insider by the name of RivaLxfactor who noted that their sources claim it’s a free-to-play gameplay experience. However, don’t expect this game mode to drop at the same time as the base game. Instead, it appears that the game mode will be available a few months after the base game is released.
Again, take this as nothing more than a rumor. We’ll just have to wait and see if this comes to fruition. Currently, we only have the first official Battlefield 6 trailer. Meanwhile, we learned from the trailer that there were plans to reveal the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield 6 on July 31, 2025.
That said, we’re also still waiting on a release date announcement. However, it was previously revealed that EA might have inadvertently shown a release window ahead of time.
