Beware! Spoilers ahead!
When Konami unveiled that Silent Hill would get another chance to bask in the limelight, some fans met it with hesitation and skepticism. We’ve waited years for a solid release, and most would view the original installments made by Team Silent as the best games from the series. However, what raised a few eyebrows was that to help bring this franchise back to the forefront would be a remake of Silent Hill 2.
Bloober Team received some flack as the studio that would be bringing this remake out. However, upon release, the game was highly praised. It was a big success and showed that Bloober Team has the chops to throw out some AAA horror game experiences. What made this game even more enticing for veteran players was the chance to replay a modern release of this installment and the fact that there were some fresh new expansions.
Silent Hill 2 was released this past month, so we’re bound to see more secrets come out. For example, it wasn’t too long ago that a player cracked the Polaroid puzzle. However, now, thanks to a report from PC Gamer, it seems that another player uncovered a secret related to the various TVs within the game.
If you have played the game, then you know there are TVs that typically just play static. However, it was discovered that some of the TVs have a Morse code message. So far, it was uncovered that one TV within the Brookhaven Hospital consistently translates to the phrase “again and again.” That has some fans leading to believe the James loop, which is that James is stuck going through Silent Hill over and over again in a hopeless battle to find his wife.
Meanwhile, another phrase found on the TV at the apartments is, “Why did you do it, James?” That’s another reference to the big twist within the storyline. I’m sure this game has even more secrets to be uncovered.
