After reaching Hunter Rank 6 in Monster Hunter Now, you’ll unlock the invitation feature. This is different from your friend code. However, anyone you invite with your invitation code will automatically be added to your friend list. Keep in mind that the invitation code will only work for first-time players.

Multiple people can use the same invite code, so you can post your code on your social media accounts and add people that way. This allows both you and the recipient to receive invitation rewards once the invited player reaches Hunter Rank 6. Your code can be redeemed up to 20 times per month. After that, you need to wait until the first of each month to get invitation code rewards again. Rewards will automatically be sent to your Item Box.

How to Find Your Invitation Code

Your invitation code is available for you to access at any point after you reach HR6. To access your invitation code, select your Hunter profile and go to Friends. Tap the Add Friends option and scroll down. You’ll see a box labeled “Invite your Friends to Play.” Your referral (invitation code) will be at the bottom of the screen.

If you ever want to reset your invitation code, select the circular arrow button to the right of your code. Your previous code will automatically become invalid.

How to Share & Use Invitation Codes

To share your code, follow the instructions above and use either of the two rightmost buttons next to your code. The double square button will automatically copy your code, so you can easily paste and share your code however you desire. Using the last button, the box with the up arrow, will generate a message that you can share on social media.

To redeem the invitation code, you must be a new player. The game will allow you to enter invitation codes only once at the beginning of the game. After that, there is no way for you to enter invitation codes. So if you haven’t started playing and you want to, run a quick Google search and add as many codes as you can find.

Rewards

Both you and the inviting user will receive rewards. Remember, in order for both players to get rewards, the invited user needs to reach HR6. Currently, any number of users can use the same invitation code.

Inviters, keep an eye on your friend list. If your friend list is full – a maximum of 400 friends across all Niantic apps – then the inviter and invitee will not automatically become friends. Additionally, the inviter will not be able to receive invitation code rewards, but the invitee will.

If your Item Box is full and you’re eligible to receive either reward bundle, then you will not receive rewards beyond your storage limit. If you want the Paintballs, make sure you have room for them.
