There’s a new update for Halo 5. It’s out now and you’ll need about 8.8gb of space to download the patch, which adds a host of new content to the game.
The update is dubbed “Ghosts of the Meridian” adding two new maps, Skirmish at Darkstar (Warzone) and Tyrant (Arena). The update also includes new weapons and vehicles and Hannibal customization options for the Scorpion and Mantis vehicles.
The update also adds a ton of bug fixes for multiplayer and tweaks to the way vehicles perform. Weather effects have also been added to the Forge, along with other customization content.
All the new content can be seen in the image below.
In addition to the new update, Microsoft and 343 have announced that next week, players will be able to participate in the new Warzone Firefight mode when the beta launches. The beta will run from April 18 through 18 and include Escape from ARC and other maps when the mode is finally released this Summer.
For those not in the know, Warzone Firefight allows up to eight players to fight together, utilizing the Req System to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult objectives against a timer.
And finally, 343 has released a new Req pack called the Mythic Warzone Req Pack. It’s only available for a single week from April 18 to 21 and includes 10 Mythic power weapons and one ultra rare or legendary weapon or vehicle.
