Street Fighter 6: How To Unlock Costume 2

June 2, 2023 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

Check this new fit.

Street Fighter 6 is finally here and has seen major critical success as well as a very warm reception from fans of the series. While Street Fighter 5 eventually turned into a decent game, it didn’t launch with enough content for fans to be satisfied. Luckily, Street Fighter 6 has launched full of interesting features and content that’s going to keep players invested and, hopefully, sustain a healthy community until the next game in the series rolls around.

One of the big draws for Street Fighter 6 is its great roster of characters. The game features 18 different fighters as well as four more DLC characters coming later down the line with much of the roster being composed of classic Street Fighter faces. While the classic designs for the characters are still great, Street Fighter 6 gives all of its returning cast new, modern designs.

If you are a fan of classic Street Fighter character designs, however, don’t worry, you can still get a lot of the original outfits for Street Fighter 6‘s legacy characters without needing to pay for microtransactions. Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock Outfit 2 for all characters.

How to Unlock Costume 2

By default, all characters in Street Fighter 6 have one costume, but their alternate outfit is able to be easily purchased using Fighter Coins, the game’s premium currency. If you aren’t interested in spending any real money for the costumes, they can, luckily, be unlocked in-game without spending anything.

To unlock the outfits, you’ll need to play the World Tour single-player game mode. In it, your custom character will come face-to-face with the entire cast of the game and learn how to fight like them. When you meet each character, you’ll see that each has a “Bond Level” that increases by giving them gifts and completing missions.

In order to unlock each character’s alternate costume, you’ll need to raise their Bond Level to 100. While it might take some time, you’ll be spending plenty of time doing missions for characters in the single-player mode anyway, so as long as you’re focused on spending time with the characters you want alternate outfits for, you should have their costume in no time.

If you’re feeling impatient, you are certainly welcome to pay for the alternate costumes using Fight Coins, however, just take note that it’ll cost 50 Fighter Coins. Luckily, that’s not too much for each costume, but just know that you can’t simply buy 50 Fighter Coins at once, you’ll need to buy them in a bundle which costs $4.99 for the smallest batch of coins.
