We now know Ace Attorney 6‘s final box art, courtesy of Amazon Japan.
Of course, our cover image is this final box art. Compared to the initial reveal, the colors on the art are considerably less saturated. Most noteworthily, there is now a 15th anniversary sticker on the lower right side.
The first Ace Attorney game, named Gyakuten Saiban, was released for the Japanese Game Boy Advance on October 2001. The Game Boy Advance received several sequels, but when it finally came time to localize them for the West, Capcom skipped the last member of the Game Boy brand in lieu of what was then Nintendo’s latest portable product line, the Nintendo DS. Since then, the Ace Attorney games have also appeared on Wii, mobile, and as is the case with Ace Attorney 6, the 3DS.
Ace Attorney 6 will be released in Japan on June 9, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. Capcom has confirmed that it will be coming to the West, but have yet to share full release details. You can learn more about Ace Attorney 6 by watching translated versions of its demo and prologue anime.
