Enter the Gungeon may well be the most adorable action-oriented dungeon crawler I’ve ever seen. With an adorable cast of characters made up of bullets that shoot bullets (what a great concept!), it promises to entertain gamers with its cutesy pixel-art graphics and fast-paced gameplay.
Today, the developers at Dodge Roll Games and their publishers at Devolver Digital unveiled pre-orders for the game, which carry a nice 10% discount.
In addition to the announcement, they unveiled some limited edition merchandise including a premium pin set and two cute bulletman plushies that each include a Steam key for the game.
In Enter the Gungeon, players select a hero and battle their way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable Gundead and fearsome Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth. Gather precious loot, discover hidden secrets, and chat with opportunistic merchants and shopkeepers to purchase powerful items to gain an edge.
“Gun violence is an important issue and we’re doing our part to exploit that issue by selling cute stuffed bullet dolls in promotion of a game about shooting bullets at bullets that shoot bullets back at you,” said Fork Parker, CFO of Devolver Digital.
