Naughty Dog has revealed that Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End has received a short delay. The PlayStation 4 exclusive will now be releasing on May 10, 2016.
Citing the desire to meet demand, and particularly to ensure everyone who wants to play can get a copy, they will take two extra weeks to manufacture more copies. Note that Naughty Dog is clear that the reason is not due to game development, including any last minute changes, or other similar constraints.
Naughty Dog shared this message to fans:
We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.
With this statement, even as Naughty Dog seeks to mollify fans, they reemphasize again that it will be Nathan Drake’s last, as they said last January. Do you think you’re ready to play Drake’s last adventure? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
