With the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD next week, Nintendo has published a launch trailer for the game. The game is a Wii U remaster of the action-adventure originally released for the GameCube in 2002. It was later ported to the Wii in 2006.
The game represented a step for the series towards a darker, more “mature” storyline away from the bright colors and whimsy of Wind Waker. There’s a strong emphasis on the whole “Twilight” aspect. The title catered to fans who fretted over Wind Waker‘s “kid-friendly” direction.
The latest video offers a look at the HD remaster’s gameplay, with some bits of story and a reintroduction of characters and enemies that anyone who’s played the original game will no doubt be familiar with.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is set for release on March 4 for the Wii U with support for Nintendo’s amiibo toys.
