The third Zero Escape game, named Zero Time Dilemma, is getting a repeat participant, as revealed in some new character artwork.
Twitter account @_crash_keys_ has been sharing character art from the game, passing it off as data leaks from Dcom, an organization in Zero Time Dilemma. While the other characters have yet to be fully introduced, fans who played Virtue’s Last Reward should recognize this face.
What follows below are spoilers for this character. If you want, you can skip below to see artwork for other characters from Zero Time Dilemma.
Phi was a character from Virtue’s Last Reward, a player in the Ambidex edition of the Nonary game. While the glasses are new and she no longer wears her characteristic flower shaped hairpin, she is still recognizable from her cropped haircut, and her brooch, now no longer worn as a necklace but pinned to her shirt.
Phi is a popular character, but she is manipulative and cold when playing the game. She can also be forceful when she wants to, but is secretive about her past.
Phi’s biggest secret is she is an esper. She can send her conscious mind across alternate timelines, although she has not yet mastered this ability. Because of her lack of experience, she still cannot choose which timeline she jumps into, and she is not capable of retaining her memories.
Zero Time Dilemma will be released in 2016 on PlayStation Vita and 3DS. Check out more pictures from @_crash_keys_ below. You can read more detail about the Western release plans here and here.
