Fallout 4’s Most Dangerous Enemy Revealed

February 16, 2016 by Stephen Daly

Along with Kellogg’s final, terrifying form.

The Boston Commonwealth of 2287 is not a safe place. There are deathclaws, mirelurks, super mutants, feral ghouls, mole rats, boatflies, radioactive wastes, and of course, plenty of humans who are more than willing to kill you.

But what is Fallout 4’s biggest threat? The above video by Sohoshuffle, done along the same theme as Bethesda’s SPECIAL videos released before the game, will let you know.

The Commonwealth is also home to synths and robots hellbent on stopping the people above ground improving their lives for… some reason. The mod shown in this video by FluffyNinjaLlama reveals Kellogg’s terrifying final form.

Still, at least, the Institute quests don’t involve you having to talk to Prescott more than you already do so they’ve got that going for them.

Previous mods we’ve featured for the game include one that adds lightsabers, a BioShock Infinite Columbia-themed settlement, and Buzz Lightyear power armour. You can find our choice of ten of the best here. In January, Bethesda asked fans to “stay tuned” for news about modding the console versions of the game.

Earlier today, Bethesda announced its plans for the first three DLC packs for Fallout 4. The first DLC is called Automatron and focuses on the Silver Shroud radio play in which the Mechanist releases hordes of rampaging robots on Boston. Available in March, the DLC will cost $9.99.

This will be followed by Wasteland Workshop in April. The DLC focuses on settlement and allows you to build cages to trap live creatures from raiders to deathclaws. It’ll cost $4.99.

Finally, Far Harbour will send you to an island of Maine where the locals, the synths, and the Children of Atom are locked in an epic struggle. Costing $24.99, the DLC includes the largest landmass created for a Bethesda add-on to date.

The Season Pass will be rising in cost from $29.99 to $49.99 on March 1st, 2016. Bethesda is also planning to introduce a survival mode and has additional DLC plans for the future.
